My short-lived experience as an only child is about to come to its end, but even though it has been sweet I must say the end is highly anticipated cause imma be ON A BOAT! On thursday, 9/20/12 I will be shipping off to Tortolla in the British Virgin Islands to join the rest of the crew on an 88 ft schooner called the Ocean Star. Hopefully once I get there I will actually truly understand what makes it a schooner, but I guess I shall learn in time. I am incredibly excited, however, my excitement is joined by apprehension because I know I will miss home dearly. Anyways, Tank I specifically request that you read my blog... yes you. I'm callin' you out....
Its unclear whether or not I will have consistent internet access, but I guess we shall know soon. If I don't post soon, don't just assume its cause I'm incredibly busy and having an amazing time, the only feasible reason would a lack of internet... The plan is not only to provide written updates but also some pictures, so if you're not into reading it's okay! Lastly, I would like to give a HUGE shout out to the parentals for this opportunity! Hopefully this will prove to you that being on a boat isn't the worst thing to do for a semester.
